Curious to know who the guy behind Chernobyl Studios is? Well, online metal mixing studio services came much later. I actually got my start doing online metal mixing tutorials on YouTube!
I’m Scott, and you may know me from my growing YouTube channel Chernobyl Studios where I’ve been posting metal mixing and mastering tutorials for the last few years.
Music has always been a very important part of my life, and it seemed that it was only a matter of time before I would try my hand at recording music. That journey began in year 2000, when I was just 15 years old.
I can still remember the days rushing home from school to open Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.03. I would spend all of my time programming ideas in MIDI and it was here where I became adept at metal MIDI drum programming.
All of these years later the passion for metal, recording, mixing, and creating music has remained the same. It’s truly what I love to do the most and the one true constant that has been in my life no matter what I was doing for work or where I was living.
I’m often asked how I came up with the name of Chernobyl Studios and, I must admit, it wasn’t me who came up with the name. Back when I created my YouTube channel and couldn’t think of a name for myself, a friend of mine was trolling me on Facebook. I don’t remember the exact conversation, but the moment he typed ‘Chernobyl Studios’ in chat, I knew that was the name.
When a quick Google search for metal mixing studios by this name didn’t yield any results, I realized that nobody had yet claimed the name for themselves. Immediately a domain name and an email was created. Ever since then, I’ve been Chernobyl Studios and the rest, as they say, is history!
Metal Music Mixing Services
As a natural teacher, I like to help others and it was only a matter of time that this would lead to me assisting others in producing their songs. I have over 18 years experience and have recorded, mixed, and mastered tons of songs; in that time I have gained extensive knowledge of all the different aspects involved in the process of creating music. What’s more, I remember the first time I heard my own compositions recorded - the feeling of accomplishment and joy - and I want you to experience these emotions as well.
So, got a metal band and want it to sound awesome? Head on over to my services page and have a look at what I can do for you.
